Flower Quality

We pride ourselves at House of Blooms on our quality and freshness of product. As flowers are a perishable product that are effected by their immediate environment, like air conditioning and extreme heat, we recommend that you read our Floral Care Guide to maximise the life of your floral arrangement.

Floral Care Guide:

Steps to follow to prolong the life of your floral arrangement.

  1. If flowers are arranged in florist foam, carefully top up arrangement with water daily. Do not overfill.
  2. With cut flowers and bouquets trim stems diagonally about 2cm from base and remove any leaves from stems that maybe below the water line. Place or arrange in a vase of clean water.
  3. Position flowers away from direct heat, draughts and sunlight. Do not place them on TV’s or on any heat generating appliances.
  4. If placing an arrangement on a valuable piece of furniture place a dish underneath in case of overfills.
  5. Change the water in the vase and add flower food sachet (available at House of Blooms) every second day. Remove any spent stems as some flowers will last longer than others.
  6. Once flowers are spent please clean vase well to ensure no bacteria proliferates to spoil the next bunch you buy or receive.
  7. ENJOY YOUR FLOWERS.

Cancellation Policy:

All cancellations and refunds are at the discretion of the manager.

Cancellations received within LESS THAN 12 hours notice prior to the scheduled delivery date could incur a fee at managers discretion. (50% of the total order value).
We will be unable to cancel orders that are already prepared on the scheduled delivery day, or, are with our courier for delivery.

Refunds

Refunds will only be given when the product has perished within 48 hours of receiving of the floral product and it is returned to us within that 48 hours. Full refunds will be given if we are given more than 12 hours notice of cancellation. All refunds will be only given at the discretion of the manager. See our Cancellation Policy.  Non-perishable items must be accompanied by reciept for refund.

Online Orders: All refunds for orders placed online will be credited back to the original credit card on which the order was purchased.

Telephone Orders: All refunds for orders placed over the Telephone will be credited back to the original credit card on which the order was purchased.

In store Purchases: Refunds for in-store purchases may be processed through the original credit card for which the order was purchased.

Cash Purchases: Will be refunded via credit card or cash (when accompanied with a reciept).

House of Blooms will not divulge any information from our clients to any third parties. All email information is used only as a marketing and sales tool for House of Blooms. Please do not hesitate to contact us on 9764 0244 if you have any issues or concerns on your online ordering and privacy.

House of Blooms accepts no responsibility for any damages a floral item, candles, plant, gift or food hamper may cause once it has left our shop front.

House of Blooms must receive a product back with 48hrs if a refund is to be issued. Refunds will only be issued on the discretion of the manager.

Deliveries

Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays: online orders placed BEFORE 1 pm AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time) for business deliveries and BEFORE 3:00 pm AEST for residential deliveries can generally be delivered the same day. We cannot specify specific times of delivery apart from AM or PM (except for funeral and wedding deliveries). There is NO specific times of delivery on special occasions like Valantine’s Day, Mothers Day and Christmas just sameday delivery. If a Public Holiday is selected for delivery your order will automatically be delivered on the NEXT business day.  

Delivery on Saturday: Saturday delivery is available, although the order must be placed BEFORE 12.00 pm. AEST on Saturday.

Delivery for Sunday or Public Holidays: Sunday (except for Mother's Day) or Public Holiday deliveries are generally not available. Should you select Sunday or a Public Holiday for delivery, your order will automatically be delivered on the NEXT business day. If you specifically require a Sunday delivery please contact us on 03 9764 0244 with 24hours notice.

If you require an urgent delivery or time specific delivery (or your order is placed outside the above times) please contact us at House of Blooms on 03 9764 0244 during business hours so we can endeavour to process your request. Please note: An additional delivery charge may apply.
